A Wasted Mind is a Terrible Thing

DALLAS—The world fell silent this week as high-school graduate Paxton Smith imparted her vast wisdom gained from over 18 years of being alive on an awestruck crowd.

“I was going to share some funny stories and life lessons from my senior year in high school, but I realized I had something more important to say,” she said as the crowd inched closer to glean a bit of transcendent knowledge from the young teen. “Abortion is totally cool and Republicans want to stop it. That’s a violation of my personal right to kill my baby. Not cool, Republicans!”

The crowd leapt to its feet and cheered. Many in the crowd could be seen weeping, having witnessed such incredible courage and wisdom from one so young. “I had never really thought of it that way before!” said one parent who attended the graduation. “My thinking has been changed forever!”

In an interview with CNN, Smith said she drew on her 4 years of experience being indoctrinated by leftist teachers and mass media as well as that one pregnancy scare she had that led her to kill her child for the sake of her future career.

“My lived experience has made me what I am today,” she said. “I’m glad I’ve been given a platform to share my wisdom with girls who will come after me.”

Go here to read the rest.  Selfishness, ignorance and groupthink are the main products being produced by our current educational system. The valedictorian is too ignorant to realize that she wouldn’t have been making her little pro murder rant if quite a few women in her family tree over the ages hadn’t given birth in situations more dire than she can possibly imagine.  In this Vale of Tears love is the ultimate survival strategy.

Old people watch out. You are superfluous and a burden to the young.

“Old people watch out. You are superfluous and a burden to the young.”
.
I’ve been saying this for a while, actually. Nifty little bug SC2, kills the old, obese, diabetic while sparing babies in a most unusual fashion (quite unlike influenza). Be a shame if it escaped from the lab and rampant in the care homes. Be a bigger shame if there were no treament for it exempt ventilators, that cause hosptials to be overwhelmed, cancer diagnosis to be delayed to the point treatment is basically ineffective.

A guilty woman feels the need for external validation for her “choices” and looks for this validation from cheering crowds.

I think this decision haunts her.

And no amount of lying to herself or others will take away from the fact she knowingly and wilfully killed her unborn child.

But, if for some reason, at 18, she doesn’t feel the burden of her decision, life will make sure she will regret this. And I hope for the sake of her soul, her reaction is regret and repentance.

Because the alternative is what we have now in abundance- feminists perpetuating the lie and making the younger women believe the lie. And making irreversible choices which cause long-lasting permanent damage to them mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

The “babylon Bee” explains it all.

Meanwhile, [Instapundit] you won’t see in the lying media that when Kamala Harris landed in Guatemala she was greeted by signs like “Trump Won” and “Guatemala is Pro-Life.”

This brings to mind a movie one of the stupid movie channels I don’t pay for is running this week: “Dazed And Confused.”

To be fair, a privileged, brainwashed TX girl could be a better POTUS than Chinese Joe.

“This country has no future as long as it supports the killing of innocents”..St. Mother Teresa of Calcutta said this year’s ago. She is right. Time will prove her words prophetic if we continue to cheer on the bloody killing of children.

This speaker is dooming her existence. The crowd of men and women are stiff necked and hard of heart. They resemble the people that lived in the day’s of Noah. They just might witness fire falling from the sky. If they do, will they repent at the last seconds of their lives? Will they be sorry for having supported the killing machine?

Children killing children.

In the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution there is a part that says “secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity” Posterity are future generations of Americans, Americans as of yet unborn. How do you abort and secure the Blessings of Liberty for Posterity at the same time? With the way abortion is being advocated it would appear that one generation owes the next generation nothing.

It is better to light one candle than to curse the darkness.

We have a young family in our parish that has a new baby – seems like – every time we see them. It looks like eight now – they all are at 7:30AM Mass each Sunday. The older boys are altar servers.

In February 2021, we welcomed (God’s creation) – grandchild (boy) number seven. In May we welcomed (God’s creations) – grandchildren (twins a boy and a girl) numbers eight and nine.

Alleluia!
