Consider this: being insufficiently woke in today’s ‘journalism’ can get one fired and shunned, but obvious malpractice like what we see here is met with a shrug and a yawn.
And remember, these are the same so-called “journalists” who claim to be deeply concerned about other media getting to us with ‘disinformation’ and fake news…

Make them pay.
Most media outlets, or their parent companies, make huge profits in China and to keep the money flowing they parrot CCP propaganda.
Their “follow the science” garbage is being exposed as politicized propaganda.
Never link directly to a news article. Always link to an archived version on a separate site.
These sort of stealth edits are extremely common. I recently dealt with them in a story about the Georgia recount efforts, which had had quotes in favor of the possibility of fraud happening silently removed. If you take snapshots of the top five articles from any major news site, I guarantee that at least one of them will have been silently before 12 hours pass.
