Something for the weekend: Russian national anthem. The original national anthem was The Internationale which served as the anthem of Communism.
It was replaced with the State Anthem of the Soviet Union with the lyrics being modified in 1944, 1956 and 1970, to reflect the changing politics of the day.

After the fall of Communism, the Russians retained the tune with new lyrics:

The Russian flag is quite generic looking.
The tricolor has much to answer for. Such banners are insults to the imagination and creativity of Man.
Not many flags are all that appealing. Canada had a satisfactory flag – which they replaced with the Lester Pearson supermarket logo. Ceylon’s is handsome. Some of the Anglo Caribbean states do all right with theirs. The Irish naval jack is as agreeable as their usual standard is wretched.
You know a good flag design when you can actually recognise which nation the flag belongs to.

The Dutch had the first tricolor. The idea was a flag easily recognized from a distance at sea. Complexity could lead to confusion, although some nations get around this by having different sea and land flags (like Greece and UK).
