Hattip to my Bride. Anyone surprised? Go here to read about it. You have to hand it to the Jesuits. They get to call the high school age white kids at the school racist and have their parents fork over 17,500 smackers a year for the privilege. A masterpiece of the grifter ethos that is always just below the surface of the contemporary Jesuits.
Jesuit Racism
Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 41 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
There are 21 theology teachers at this school per their website, of whom two are Jesuits. Two others have a D.Min, DD, STD, or some other D. One of the Jesuits is VietNamese. The rest are all honkies.
The faculty teach about a dozen courses. One is a ‘justice seminar’ which I think is elective and under which auspices I expect this occurred. The department chairman (and the lot of them, really) are implicated in this.

My white privilege has allowed me to be a “theology” teacher at a Jesuit high school where I get to maintain my privilege by making others feel bad about themselves. I call that a win/win.
God and Science in post modernity;
The goal of the course is to instill students with the task of bringing compassion and critical thinking into a greater public discussion that is, at times, quite hostile.
I hope they are broad minded enough to give the entire story to the students, not a slanted one based upon current cultural dogmas.
The officer did indeed utilize extreme force upon George Floyd however the combination of drugs in his system and his enhanced strength at the time of the arrest warranted measures that would insure the safety of others including the arresting officer.
To paint the picture of a white supremacist cop who hates blacks took advantage of an old black man who was minding his own business.
If the students are being asked to apologize for the color of their skin, then my money is on the absence of fairness in this school’s ideas of compassion and critical thinking.
Another indoctrination center paid in full by obtuse mom and dad who own BLM signs and have them in the trunks of their His and Hers Mercedes. Ready in an instant to show the world how compassionate they are in the next incident where force is used on a criminal who happens to be black.
The officer did indeed utilize extreme force upon George Floyd
He didn’t.
That school wouldn’t exist without “white privilege”. This story can best be summed up by Kevin Bacon bending over in the movie “Animal House” getting paddled an saying, “Thank you sir, may I have another”.
Do the teachers and administration realize they are benefactors of white privilege?
Tokenism
Art Deco.
Handcuffed and knee to throat.
Not extreme?
Difference of opinion.
If he wasn’t handcuffed I would agree with you.
If it wasn’t for a white guy named Charles Martel, there would be no Church and no Jesuits.
My White Privilege Essay: “White People Know That Two plus Two equals Four.”
Shaw for the win!
I love you, Phil. And, you have a point.
However, last year, they staged 500 violent riots based on fabrications which did not have the kernel of truth contained in the common lie. And, the totalitarians swore to all of it. Then, they stole the elections.
However, ONE, the level of force employed is determined by the level of resistance. TWO, when one is being asphyxiated, it is physiologically impossible to scream, “I can’t breath!” THREE, every career criminal in America is instructed in post-graduate felony school to scream “I can’t breathe!” while they’re being filmed violently resisting arrest.
Handcuffed and knee to throat. Not extreme?
Chauvin’s knee wasn’t on this throat and the autopsy report stated quite specifically that his trachea and neck muscles were uninjured. He was on the ground cuffed because he’d proved impossible to handle when placed in the squad car. It’s all on the portion of the video they concealed for weeks.
Who’s correct?

One viewpoint.
It could be that all of the above played a role in his heart attack.
Drugs, reduced airflow.
Bad luck that the knee was near the throat and popular opinion has it that the video supports the claim.
Autopsy disputes the airflow restrictions. [?]
The video that was concealed for weeks would of changed many opinions…including mine.
I haven’t seen the video footage you mentioned.
Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
Dear Jesuits, if you don’t like the color of the house, take it up with the Architect. Burning it down is no solution.
