So Canada is jailing pastors who are defying lockdown decrees regarding how religious services are conducted? A pity that all of the Catholic clergy in Canada aren’t also in jail for standing up for the freedom of the Church. Covid-19 is demonstrating how the freedoms that we take for granted are, in many ways, illusory. If they can be taken away on such tissue thin pretexts they truly are not freedoms but rather privileges, revocable at any time by the State.
Meanwhile, here in the States we have this 8-1 ruling.
