You know the worst living tyrants. You also know that, if you fill their names in the blanks above, and then let the world know that you know, they may do to you what tyrants do to those who oppose them and expose them.

What do tyrants do?

George Orwell summed it up in 1984: ““The Party seeks power entirely for its own sake. We are not interested in the good of others; we are interested solely in power. . . Power it not a means, it is an end.”

The Primary Impetus of an Evil Will to Power

The detailed list below of tyrants’ evil actions can be subsumed under this primary category: tyrants want to be God. There are many things God can do and they cannot. The two primary things which tyrants try to make it look like they can do, but they are unable to do, are:

  1. Utter a word and something or someone – by that word alone – comes into existence, becomes reality.
  2. Exercise power over life and death.

The examples are – no pun intended – legion. Tyrants have tried to create reality by saying: there is no such thing as marriage; there is no difference between men and women; and murdering an innocent child is a human right and its exercise is good for the state. By murder, assassination, and execution tyrants believe they have ended human lives – that they indeed do have power over life and death.

I am Divine

The most telling example of tyrannical God-envy is, however, when a tyrant says, “I am God.” Of course, those whose limited power, status,  and access to power depend on the rule of the tyrant follow in lockstep and echo the declaration of divinity, while they bow and bend their knees at the tyrant’s name.  The most ludicrous aspect of these self-divinization proclamations is when the tyrant has it put to a vote or enlists a government body to declare it so. Often, with the Roman Senate voting to prove the truth of deification, various tyrants declared themselves divine. For the record, here is what happened to some Roman tyrants, in God’s time:

Tiberius died 37 A.D

Caligula died 41 A.D.

Claudius died 54 A.D

Hadrian died  138 A.D.

Commodus died 192 A.D

Maxentius  died 312 A.D

Julian the Apostate died 363 A.D.

Wisely, the Japanese emperor Hirohito disclaimed the declaration by government officials that the emperor was the divine descendant of the goddess Amaterasu. (He waited to do this until the Japanese had lost WW II).

The Actions Of Tyrants, Ever the Same

Before you fill in the blanks above, consider all the actions listed below. Also, realize a “tyrant” can be a group of people and that, in many cases, the single name you list is actually a collective signifier for all those evil persons who support and control the person named, and who enjoy the fruits of the tyranny.

  1. Seizing power illegally, unconstitutionally, by force, or by fraud; often in the name of “the oppressed,” “the workers,” “the common people,” “the excluded,” “the alienated,” “the rejected,” “the unchampioned,” “the disenfranchised,” “the condemned,” “the discriminated against,” or “the unprotected.”
  2. Acting in accord with an alleged “morality” unrealized by those previously in power and in accord with which they did not live; a morality that morally validates every action of the tyrant and of the tyrant’s minions.
  3. Rigging elections and placating world opinion by having regular rigged elections.
  4. Maintaining lavish places and courts, having ostentatious events and programs with popular, fawning celebrities; and presenting  the tyrant as a patron of culture and learning.
  5. Installing minions and puppets everywhere at every level of government and bureaucracy, and removing from all offices and positions anyone who is opposed to the tyranny and anyone who exposes it.
  6. Creating and maintaining a police force, a secret police force, and a network of spies and informers, with no limits on searches and seizures.
  7. Control and censoring all media, television, radio, broadcasting, social media,  and internet, and publishing in all forms.
  8. Defaming, ridiculing, canceling, “doxing,” disbanding, demonetizing, deplatforming, and terrorizing  persons, intellectuals, writers, thinkers, educators, commentators, public figures, entities, organizations, or institutions who say or do anything to question, in opposition to, or in an effort to expose the tyranny.
  9. Discouraging logical and reasoned thinking.
  10. Discouraging public involvement in state affairs.
  11. Minimalizing, inhibiting, denying, or prohibiting collective input, bargaining, debate, assemblies, meetings, rallies, marches, and conferences.
  12. Controlling any single aspect of life via which all of life can be controlled, e.g. the economy, the environment, health care, public safety, defense of the state.
  13. Permitting certain religious ideas, ceremonies, and actions permissible insofar as they approve of and flatter the tyrant.
  14. Feigned and asserted inspiration from God
  15. Feigned and asserted love of God and religion; feigned and asserted adherence to a particular religion or a creed, especially if its rulers or hierarchy can be co-opted regarding one or some positions of the tyranny such a hierarchy seeks to promote; particularly if this makes possible the amendment or discarding of previous dogmas of the religion.
  16. Increasing poverty of as large a percentage of the populace as possible to negate the efficacy of the people’s will.
  17. Useing soldiers, including mercenary soldiers from outside of the state, to further the tyrant’s will.
  18. Harassing, terrorizing, incarcerating, torturing, exiling, executing, purging, and assassinating any who oppose the tyranny or expose it. One historian wrote of Cicero who exposed and spoke publicly against a tyrannical Roman ruler: “…Cicero’s head and hands [were] cut off and nailed to the rostrum of the Senate to remind everyone of the perils of speaking out against tyranny.”

In Service To You, We Will Eradicate “The System” Oppressing You

Would-be Tyrants seek popular support by casting all that exists in the way of a present power structure and all who have any role in it as the “system;” describing the “system” as immoral, totally corrupt and criminal; demanding that the “system” be annihilated in its entirety; promising to overthrow the “system;” and vowing to replace it with a better world – a world which ends up being ruled by those who take power. In this way the tyrant proclaims that the action which put him in power is his mandate to abolish “the system” and every real-life aspect of it. In short, to create a new world of the tyrant.

So go ahead and fill in the blanks above. At this moment the whole world knows the list. Or wait until all these current tyrants have been called by their Father in a year of Our Lord. From where they are now, Nero, Lenin, Stalin, Hitler, Mao, Hugo, Pol and Fidel can no longer tyrannize anyone.

Yes, Anno Domini, Year of Our Lord

A most flagrant example of tyranny beginning in the last century was the attempt to recast time as a creature of the tyrants – both political and professorial – by saying, uttering the words, that time is either of the “common era’ (“CE”) or ‘before the common era’ (“BCE”). Time is, of course, the Lord’s and His alone, He made it and it is His; a gift for us during which we can do His will or ours, with the hope that our wills align with His and we will spend eternity with Him in heaven. Time is indeed divided into “CE” – the Christ Era – and “BCE” – before the Christ Era.

As with those mentioned  in the first article in this series, those listed above will die, no matter what they do or say, and they will die in God’s time. The moment after each of these tyrants hear God – as they assuredly will – saying to them, “Now I require your soul of you,” they will know, far beyond their belief-based scientistic dogmas, that indeed each year is an Anno Domini, a Year of Our Lord.

The proof that anyone added to the list above is a tyrant will be what is said about the one who does the listing and what happens to them after they have the courage to speak truth to evil power.

“Constantine I died 312 A.D”? And tyrant who proclaimed himself divine? There is some mistake here. Constantine I aka Constantine the Great died in 337 a.D., and he was baptized just before his death, after having been a catechumen for a long time. He also issued the Edict of Milan, which made Christianity legal in the Roman Empire.

Maybe you are referring to Maxentius? He died in 312 a.D. and was Constantine’s rival, but he wasn’t too bad.

Mr. McClung, thanks for your answer. It was just a typo and didn’t affect the main point of the article.

We are warm and safe, thank you.

Guy,

Party like it’s 1775! George III and Lord North thought they could ruin the colonists because they could.

America is run [with deceit and coercion] by entrenched elites/oligarchs/plutocrats whose fell interests are negatively correlated with those of we the people.

Donald John Trump demonstrated there is an alternative to their national pillaging and rapine. Ergo, he had to be destroyed.

Biden Didn’t Win.
We Were Robbed.
We Know What They Did Last November.

The thing is, “What can I do?”

Try Irish democracy – massive, passive resistance to governmental dictates and rules – every way and every day.
