We don’t have a free press, if we did the Capital riots wouldn’t have happened. We have a biased and incompetent press, that gets to cause problems and then blame others.

I think the main problem is that the media are lazy. Not just the normal kind of lazy, where you sit at your desk waiting for a NARAL press release to transcribe and call it an article, but the deep kind where you live your whole life without ever questioning your priors. You just move with a pack that believes the same things as everyone else, the same things that your college professors believed.

The news used to be mostly blue collar guys going after “the man”.
When it became the realm of the college educated, the colleges began teaching -not journalism but how to be an activist.
Meanwhile “news” all became big corporations.

And so today…. The odds of a young “journalist”, with a load of college debt, not being a woke activist and not towing the line of a big corporation, is almost Zero.

We’re living in a big government-corporate-media complex. Don’t feed it. Decouple as much as possible.

David WS, the big government-corporate-media complex is looking more and more like current day mainland China.

Any idiot can be a journalist. They prove it each day. The smart ones went into something useful, such as gender or Why-I-Hate-Americans degrees.

The mass lie factories will feverishly toil 24/7/365 and still won’t be able to cover-up the wreck and ruin the Idiocracy causes.

Fall on your knees and thank God He gave us four years of Donald John Trump, peace, and prosperity.

We can do the innuendo, we can dance and sing
When it’s said and done, we haven’t told you a thing
We all know that crap is king, give us dirty laundry

“Any idiot can be a journalist.”
Too right. One journalist will write a story without fact-checking and with a biased slant (predominantly to the left) and then a hundred lazy journalist literally copy and paste the news story. That’s journalism today.
