The local news has been reporting daily on “fears that protestors will bring violence to the capital this weekend or on inauguration day” though they always note at the end of the report that “police have so far not been made aware of any credible threats for those days.”
It’s pretty obvious that they are not reporting on what might happens, since even they admit that there is no evidence for their fears. They are trying to manufacture a violent event.
Not that much different from how they always reported the event in Kenosha as “police shooting an apparently unarmed black man repeatedly in the back” though their reasons for wanting violent protests there were different.
Does anyone know who actually ordered all those troops, whether they be National Guardsmen or regular military, into D.C.? Serious question. I have not seen or heard anyone in the “major media” talk about it, it seems simply to be taken for granted that “the Democrats” are responsible. But who in the Democrat Party has that authority?
The only thing that I’ve seen is that they are being sent by various states, so they aren’t under the direct authority of the president but instead their governors. But someone must be organizing all the units in DC itself and I don’t know who that would be.
Thanks, Rudolph. As anyone here knows, I’ve been cynical and pessimistic of late. Something about all this doesn’t seem right, and that troubles me.
