Watching it now. So far seems to be bearing out what he predicted. Was it him or Barnes that said maybe the republicans need to lose Georgia to learn their lesson? (any bets on whether they would?)

As a first time voter I’ve never been to bent on being called a “republican” I only voted for Trump. Will I show up to see another establishment republican run for the WH? probably not. Trump’s biggest challenge has always been republicans. He fought them in the primaries, he fought them in the senate and house and for re-elections.

It’s time for the republican party to die and America First to rise up

Except that it won’t, Captain Thai Tea. The Georgia races are probably lost and there are a lot of reasons but high on that list is that Democrat families are abandoning places like California and New York for places like Pennsylvania and Texas. In sparcely populated areas, anxious for tax revenue from new developments, the locals are almost immediately overrun with folks who want what they left only, in a way they cannot explain, “better.”

Those not accustomed to the government dole, those with an independent, self-reliant streak are just dying out. Folks 35 and younger are used to getting everything handed to them. Their parents charted that course for them and the State is merely Daddy Warbucks. They can’t imagine it any other way.

The GOP is too like the Dems, too establishmentarian and too globalist. It is nothing but the lesser of two evils but it IS the lesser of two evils and folks like me will continue to support it because nothing else makes sense.

America First is exactly the right way to manage government, particularly the federal government. President Trump may not be a great man or leader but he latched onto a great idea and I would not have been troubled by him winning reelection. However, there is no air to breathe for a third party, on either side of the aisle.

We have what we have and my personal preference for something different doesn’t much matter. We are at a funeral dinner and there is chicken or meatballs. It’s what we contracted for and, however much it sucks, it is all there is.
