Fauci the Liar

Dale Price at Dyspeptic Mutterings nails it:

The problem with paternalistic lying is that it’s still lying.

First, he lied about masks, saying they were not effective, in order to keep ordinary yokels from making a run on the supplies.

And now, he’s been called out for moving goalposts on the level of vaccination necessary to achieve herd immunity.

There is another problem with lying–it makes the listener wonder what else you might not be telling the truth about.

And speaking of not being forthcoming: has anyone followed up on the bombshell story revealing the NIH’s funding of “gain of function” research on coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology?

But just last year, the National Institute for Allergy and Infectious Diseases, the organization led by Dr. Fauci, funded scientists at the Wuhan Institute of Virology and other institutions for work on gain-of-function research on bat coronaviruses.

In 2019, with the backing of NIAID, the National Institutes of Health committed $3.7 million over six years for research that included some gain-of-function work. The program followed another $3.7 million, 5-year project for collecting and studying bat coronaviruses, which ended in 2019, bringing the total to $7.4 million.

Many scientists have criticized gain of function research, which involves manipulating viruses in the lab to explore their potential for infecting humans, because it creates a risk of starting a pandemic from accidental release.

SARS-CoV-2 , the virus now causing a global pandemic, is believed to have originated in bats. U.S. intelligence, after originally asserting that the coronavirus had occurred naturally, conceded last month that the pandemic may have originated in a leak from the Wuhan lab. Dr. Fauci did not respond to Newsweek’s requests for comment.

And please note that there’s a difference between “creating” and “manipulating,” which is something to keep in mind when reading the “rebuttal” statements which have not actually responded to this story.

Go here to comment.  Many of our “elites” in our society view us as cattle to be driven rather than free people to be led.  Lies today, blows tomorrow? 2020 has been a bad year, perhaps most notably by a complete failure of what passes for leadership in the West.  If these men had been at the top in World War II, we would now all be speaking German and/or Japanese.

And had been working for the Axis (or Stalin) they would have been shot.

Sadly, under the illegitimate likely presidency of Joe Biden it will only get worse. Canada, where I reside, is no better. The darkness deepens, lord with me abide.

I doubt Fauci has been a working researcher for a generation. He’s a political administrator who has been occupying his position for about 35 years now. At age 79, he is 17 years beyond the mandatory retirement age for general officers in the military and 9 years beyond the mandatory retirement age for working surgeons in New York.

And, yes, nothing he says can be trusted. Had Trump been returned to office, a letter of dismissal for Fauci delineating all of his scamming around should have been job one. One thing this crisis has revealed is that public health as a profession is right down there with school administration and social work as a collecting pool of credentialed people who do a worse job than Joe Blow off the sidewalks of Des Moines might be expected to do.

I find it especially annoying when the ABC news updates on talk radio refers to Dr. Fauci as “the nation’s leading infectious disease expert. “

The internet has many glowing reports of Dr Fauci’s accomplishments but looking at his graduate medical education it appears that he completed an internal medicine residency then began working as a researcher. Although he worked at the Institute of immunology and infectious disease I see no evidence of his completing either an immunology or infectious disease fellowship. Likewise I see no evidence of experience working in private practice or having an academic appointment training physicians and being responsibility for the care of patients being treated by resident physicians.

My advice for someone with a serious infection is to see a fellowship trained infectious disease physician who has personally treated over 100 patients per week for several years.

Our Nation is very fortunate for Surgeon General Koop’s leadership during the early phase of the AIDS epidemic. During that period Fauci second guessed infectious disease physicians using inexpensive medications rather then expensive patented medications for prophylactic and early treatment of opportunistic lung infections. It seems that Dr Fachi has always been an advocate for the interests of the pharmaceutical industry.

Dr. Fauci has been pushing for the most expensive and deadly treatments since 1989. He should have been in prison for his actions.

Fauci, an all around bad guy–Democrat operative, closet Communist, double-talker— has been a problem for a long time. Why didn’t Trump broom him long ago?

“Should have been in prison” is rather de trop. Since AIDS was a novelty, researchers and treating professionals were bound to make a mess of mistakes in casting about for a response.

The gay lobby managed to successfully mau-mau public health officials at all levels, so fairly straightforward measures like closing down bath-houses and also bars with back-rooms were delayed for years if they occurred at all. As late as 1988 there was a bathhouse operating in my hometown. The media also added to public confusion (with some assistance from public health authorities) by propagating the notion that ‘AIDS does not discriminate’, even though researchers knew by 1988 that infection via ordinary coitus was rare and most commonly occurred among people who had sores on or near their genitals. (See Michael Fumento’s writing on this subject). IIRC, Fauci himself was implicated in some of the confusion. Recall that much of the gay lobby was and remained enraged with Ronald Reagan and Ed Koch, because these men couldn’t be mau-mau’d.

The guy would have completed medical school > 50 years ago. Fellowships I believe existed at that time, but they weren’t de riguer for medical specialists at that time. When I was working at a university medical center ca. 1992, three year residencies were still the mode for internal medicine, psychiatry, and pediatrics. Medical specialists had four year residencies and surgeons six year residencies.

In the 2005 movie V for Vendetta, fascists start a virus in England that kills thousands, and using the fear thereof, they gain dictatorial power. The only difference between that scenario and today’s situation is that the communists (not the fascists) are doing this. And little man Fauci – a would be Napoleon – is in the middle of it all.

You can read about Fauci here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Fauci

He’s been in government for a half century. A worthless, useless bureaucrat – someone who should have been trashed canned a long time ago.

PS, the wiki article is already updated by our godless techno-lords to remove reference to Trump as President, putting Biden instead.

The answer to one question explains almost all of it. Qui bono? Who benefits from exaggerating the perceived negative impacts of the China virus?

I’ve posted this (my crap) elsewhere. Apparently, if you listen to the failed experts, lying media, and CCP propaganda, the 2020 China virus is different than prior pandemics: 1919,1957,1969, 2009.

Those pandemics ended after a year or two with relatively (to 2020) little collateral damage to economies or governments (the rigged/stolen election was the flu d’état). Also, several hundred billion dollars weren’t redistributed to Big Pharma for vaccines. Was it then herd immunity? Or, did the virus mutate to something less dangerous? Why wouldn’t that happen with the China virus? I think among many other things: politics.

Another difference with the prior pandemic they didn’t use them to remove the President.

I wonder if an ordinary doctor would be able to lie to his patients the way Dr. Fraudci has lied to the public and not be punished.

In this country, per capita product in 1921 was about 5.5% lower than it had been in 1916. The pandemic was one reason for that.

Prior to about 1970, physicians treating cancer patients lied to them routinely about what was ailing them. The mode was to tell a close relative and have said relative dole out information at their discretion. (I’m not clear how that was supposed to work when the patient had no close relatives in town).

At least these oncologists were telling SOMEONE the truth. Fauci isn’t even doing that.
