For a number of years I have stopped by the British gaming site Rock, Paper, Shotgun to read the posts written by Tim Stone who covers war games under the section called The Flare Path. I especially liked his monthly The Flare Path A2Z where he would take a witty alphabetized look at new war games. Go here to read the most recent column. I will have to forego this pleasure in the future. Mr. Stone made some very mild comments about the mental illness that goes under the name of transgenderism, and he was immediately fired by Rock, Paper, Shotgun. He had been there since the inception of the site, writing for 13 years, and now in a moment he is gone. Ah, Mr. Orwell, your 1984 was only thirty six years too soon. I trust Mr. Stone will find a new venue to write and that freedom of speech will survive the assault from the idiot zealots of the Left.
This month is “transgenderism awareness month”.
Mental illness is everywhere.
The term psychopath is too demeaning. It would be best to apply the PC version;
Democrat.
I played Avalon Hill board games when I was a boy with my brother and neighborhood kids. Blitzkrieg, Gettysburg, Battle of the Bulge. (The last one was my favorite.)
Same here. My first two games were Avalon Hill’s Panzer Blitz and Luftwaffe.
