PopeWatch: Masked Sheeple

From the only reliable source of Catholic news on the net, Eye of the Tiber:

Recent archaeological evidence suggests Moses was called a sheep by some Israelites for wearing a face covering.

Archaeologists from the University of Notre Dame discovered ancient texts in a cave near Mount Sinai detailing how the Israelites reacted when seeing Moses cover his face with a veil. In Exodus 34: 29-35, Moses’ face became so radiant after being in the presence of the Lord that the Israelites were afraid to come near him, so Moses covered his face with a veil to protect others each time he returned from speaking to the Lord. The new findings suggest a vehement reaction among some Israelites.

“Sheep!” a group of Israelites yelled, apparently heckling the prophet.

Some believed Moses’ face covering went against their religious beliefs. “The way I see it, I don’t need protection,” one Israelite reportedly said. “The Lord will protect me from the blinding light shining from his face. If the Lord wants my eyeballs to be burned, so be it.” Another Israelite said, “We are made in the image of God, and that unholy veil Moses is wearing is preventing us from seeing that image. God wants us to see each others’ faces, even if their face is causing ours eyes to feel excruciating pain.”

Some even went so far as to deny that the veil was protecting them at all, or claiming that Moses’ face was not actually even shining with light. “It’s all a hoax by Moses and Big Apothecary to try to control us and take away our freedoms,” one individual said. “I choose not to live in fear.”

This comes after previous research suggesting that Israelites complained of Moses’ laws on face coverings, quarantine, and social distancing in Leviticus 13 intended to prevent the spread of infectious diseases, referring to them as Satanic practices imposed by the government.

Go here to comment.  Rumor has it that as a result of this discovery the Vatican will mandate perpetual mask wearing for Catholics, with a two mask minimum during Lent.
