That was an intentional exaggeration, this time. Too fluid a delivery for a stumble, plus the little chuckle afterwards.

The debate will expose the truth. I pray that DJT is gearing up to play against the game, not against the opponent.

That said, the interview with MSNDNC’s Stephanie Ruhle is a ripe orchard. It may be that the “180 years” comment was actually on the teleprompter, and he merely avoided a Ron Burgundy moment by not saying “chuckle here.”

Ann Althouse has up a link to an MSNBC interview where he’s caught in a syntactical labyrinth.

In theory the first debate will be tomorrow. Bit late at this point for the dems to back out, so I guess it’s going to happen.

I’d still be really surprised to see even an attempt at fairness. I expect to see President Trump constantly cut off by the moderator, probably even having his mic cut, while Biden is given all the time he needs to say something halfway coherent. But even with that I don’t see how they can arrange it so that Biden comes out on top.

Trump Biden debate drinking game: If the first question is about Trump’s taxes, do two shots.

If there are no questions from Chris Wallace about Hunter Biden, finish the bottle.

Somebody else can fill in the middle.

It’s almost 10:00 am CDT. Has the Biden Campaign called a lid yet?

Biden made a comment last week that I think is a pretty good indication of the tactic his handlers will have him use:

“It is going to be difficult. I know — I mean my guess it’s going to be just straight attacks. They’re gonna be mostly personal. That’s the only thing he knows how to do. He doesn’t know how to debate the facts because he’s not that smart. He doesn’t know that many facts,”

That is, he’s going to do nothing but call President Trump stupid, but at the same time he will claim that he is the only one not engaging in personal attacks.

Calling it a lid.

The problem could stem from Joe scoring many lids as a young lad, middle age and now his twilight years.

When you reach critical mass, by way of consuming many lids, the importance of clarity and memory become unimportant.

Dementia?

Nahhhh.
Cannabis Maximus.
Ya got ’em….smoke ’em Joe.

I very sincerely believe they’re calling it a day at 9:00, 9:30 am, because they’ve go Joe trained to think that it’s 9:00, 9:30 pm and time to go nighty night.

That way, he’ll be awake and sharp and less likely to make a complete and utter fool of himself at the debate.
