Riots and Excuses

The main excuse for riots in this country is race.  Supposedly the legacy of slavery, systemic racism, etc,. justifies arson, murder and plundering.  This of course is utter garbage.  At bottom these justifications of mass criminality are lies, and to take them seriously is to put the moral order on its head.  Every society, and every race, has good and bad people.  It takes no great wisdom to perceive which group is engaging in rioting.

Baltimore, Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, St. Louis, New York City, Chicago, Washington and now my home town. Worst. Political. Class. In. History. What’s worse is that these dreadful incompetents have the assent of half the population.

The places where extensive rioting are occurring were never going to vote for Trump and still won’t. The question is now how many fewer will vote for Biden. He will still win in those places but by far fewer votes and Trump may receive more popular votes overall.

Loved the blue color logic. I have also lived in an integrated neighborhood for too long to put up with this sh*t.

I hope and pray I have the courage to go down fighting for my family when rioters come down my street. I don’t want that to happen. But sadly the only thing BLM and Antifa understand is what any bully understands: you’ll get punched in the nose if you continue bullying.

Politics and the election – an excuse for some undercover community org. big wheels importing or exporting the troublemaking manufactory, who also sit back and laugh at the situations and D backed permissiveness.

“Prove me wrong: Democratic politicians and the left wing media ignored and excused the rights”

Well, you cannot both ignore and excuse something you ignored. If it is meant the Democrats ignored them – wrong, far from ignore them they encouraged them. The left wing media vacillated between excusing and glorifying.

sorry – should be riots. Although they did excuse/ignore the rights of peaceful citizens, counter protesters and those just trying to protect life and property.

The cities won’t vote for Trump even they burn to the ground. But it can still swing states. Take Minnesota: everywhere outside the Twin Cities is very pro-Trump and very motivated. This even includes the northeast arrowhead region which has been a democrat stronghold for ages. The Twin Cities will still never vote for a republican, but even they can’t drum up enthusiasm for a senile old man who supports their businesses getting looted. So the Biden vote from the cities goes down while the Trump vote everywhere else goes up and the state flips to red.

Someone who blogs as ‘Snow on Pine’ passes on this Lincoln quotation:

“whenever the vicious portion of [our] population shall be permitted to gather in bands of hundreds and thousands, and burn churches, ravage and rob provision stores, throw printing-presses into rivers, shoot editors, and hang and burn obnoxious persons at pleasure and with impunity, depend upon it, this government cannot last.”

It’s necessary for normally peaceful people to start speaking “truth to power” as the old saying goes. As in speaking truth to the hardcore leftist, diabolically enraged, marxist power that is holding sway in our nation today, and speaking that same truth to all those enabling them be they in the press, academia, or politics.

It takes courage, because it will come at a cost. Many have lost jobs or opportunities for promotion, or friends and family by doing so. And it’ll probably get worse before it gets any better.
