Some Democrats are giving signs that they are planning a coup if they lose the election this November. Evidence?
The increasingly deranged Hilary Clinton, who manifestly has never got over her defeat four years ago, has recommended Biden never concede under any circumstance. Sounds like loser’s regret.
However there is also a much more sinister interpretation:
Then we have this from that ever useful insight into the mentality of the Democrat leadership Axios:
A top Democratic data and analytics firm told “Axios on HBO” it’s highly likely that President Trump will appear to have won — potentially in a landslide — on election night, even if he ultimately loses when all the votes are counted.Â
Why this matters: Way more Democrats will vote by mail than Republicans, due to fears of the coronavirus, and it will take days if not weeks to tally these. This means Trump, thanks to Republicans doing almost all of their voting in person, could hold big electoral college and popular vote leads on election night.
- Imagine America, with its polarization and misinformation, if the vote tally swings wildly toward Joe Biden and Trump loses days later as the mail ballots are counted.
- That is what this group, Hawkfish, which is funded by Michael Bloomberg and also does work for the Democratic National Committee and pro-Biden Super PACs, is warning is a very real, if not foreordained, outcome.
What they’re saying: Hawkfish CEO Josh Mendelsohn calls the scenario a “red mirage.”
- “We are sounding an alarm and saying that this is a very real possibility, that the data is going to show on election night an incredible victory for Donald Trump,” he said.
- “When every legitimate vote is tallied and we get to that final day, which will be some day after Election Day, it will in fact show that what happened on election night was exactly that, a mirage,” Mendelsohn said. “It looked like Donald Trump was in the lead and he fundamentally was not when every ballot gets counted.”
Go here to read the rest. Well I guess it would take a considerable amount of time after election day for the Democrats to manufacture find the necessary votes to win. After all, ballots in car trunks, and other out of the way locations, don’t just shout out their presence immediately after an election. They wait quietly until they are needed. Then we have “ballot harvesting”, so the dead, the insane, the Alzheimer patients and the moved, left no address can play their vital role in our political life.
This is called battle space preparation. The Democrats are telegraphing to the members of their faction that they should not believe the returns on election night and that come what may they will get Orange Man Bad Out.
Our tradition is one of peaceful transfer of power since 1788. Even during our Civil War, both sides conducted regular elections. I guess some Democrats are tiring of this tradition. I assume to them the potential of a few million dead might be worth it if the election comes out their way. In the words of that bold, bad man Oliver Cromwell, I would say to them, before it is too late for the nation, quietly: I beseech you, in the bowels of Christ, think it possible that you may be mistaken.
There is no good solution to the 2020 voting problem.
Agree with Vince Cognianlese on the need for in person voting.
However, Democrats will oppose this idea so the problem will remain.
Trump should begin now preparing the country for the coming turmoil. He should consider placing military personnel at every post office location to assure the safety of the workers who will be in jeopardy. He should also call out Hillary and others for inciting insurrection, etc. etc.
I would not be surprised if Antifa, BLM or whatever violent Democrat associated mob attacks or disrupts polling places on Election Day.
Mail in voting should never have been allowed to be considered an alternative to absentee balloting. I voted absentee in Alabama during the last local election. After receiving the requested ballot my wife and I went to the County Courthouse election office, with no lines or waiting we showed our required picture ID then completed the ballots at the election office.
When living in Florida they had a week of early voting and there were never long lines, if there where someone can always go back later.
With all the uncertainty with the upcoming election I would vote as soon as possible if living in a state with early voting. I have little concern about the security of my current voting location, but if I lived in a violence prone area then I would consider requesting an absentee ballot then take it to the courthouse so I could deliver it in person.
Again, we got here consequent to fits of negligence and stupidity by state legislators. Postal balloting should be permitted only for the eligible who have an abiding problem (not a spot problem) which inhibits them from getting to the polls. Such people make up perhaps 5-6% of the electorate in the eastern United States and perhaps 10-12% in the western United States. If you wanted to put an end to lines at the polls, the simplest thing to do would be to have moved the voting time to Friday evening, Saturday morning, and Saturday afternoon. Only about 12% of the voting age population routinely works on Saturday. Why are we voting on 19th century market days? Well, because no one can be bothered to fix anything when they’re not paying off some constituency.
And then there’s this, complete with temper tantrum throwing Trump illustration. Although, what the article suggests is that if the electorate doesn’t want to live through the mother of all snit fits, they’d better vote for Biden, if they know what’s good for them.
Nice country you have here. Be a shame if it were to suddenly burn down.
William A. Jacobsen has thoughts..
This makes no sense. A number of states have already been voting only by mail for several years and have elected Republicans, Florida has always had a high rate of mail-in votes (and Republicans have won the last several). Likewise, the scenario put forward is not even accurate. The House would elect the President if no one secured a majority in the electoral college. But the votes are counted by state delegation, 1 vote per state, and Republican House members are in the majority in at least 30 states. The Senate elects the Vice President but has nothing to do with electing the President. The premise here is all a lot of nonsense.
The amount of mail in ballots proposed by the Democrats is unprecedented nationally, and stories of the fraud, ballots sent massively to bad addresses, and the time it takes to tally them fill the media from elections already held this year with mass mail in ballots. Ample opportunity for the traditional Democrat margin of fraud in close elections to come into play. Also as the Podesta war game mentioned in the post sets forth, apparently secession and possible military intervention are very much on the table. Mass mail in ballots in states which have no experience of it is merely one element in the attempt of the Democrats to steal this election.
A number of states have already been voting only by mail for several years and have elected Republicans
Where? If you mean “Utah,” just say “Utah.”
Because if you say “Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Washington and Utah are all vote by mail,” you’ll illustrate exactly the problem– Washington has been laughably obvious in their fraud for years (I’ve mentioned here how they sent my husband TWO ballots after we moved to Texas, right? And even before it was all vote by mail, people were registering in Seattle and their vacation house? The regular “our pet got a ballot” stories?) Colorado’s fraud is what triggered a lot of folks to recognize the pattern. You see, they send everyone a ballot, but you can vote in person.
An amazing number of people who went in to vote in person were informed they’d already sent their ballot in. Ms. Hoyt at According to Hoyt was being a poll watcher and saw it.
Florida isn’t vote by mail only, and it’s what started people eyeballing mail-ins. We remember how hard they worked to throw away the military ballots.
There are numerous examples of Dems (always Dems never Republicans) losing on election night, then “miraculously” winning after absentee/mail in votes are tabulated days and/or weeks later; Senate races, House races. The Dems will do ANYTHING to win, even cheat. Their every action needs to be placed under a microscope. Unfortunately virtually all of the mainstream press is on on the scam making the job all the harder.
This is a direct result of the 1960 election which every historian today concedes was stolen by Mayor Richard Daley of Chicago to the benefit of Jack Kennedy. President Eisenhower persuaded Nixon that challenging the election would spit the country and so Nixon manned up and waited until 1968 for his turn. Nothing so gentile will take place this time.
I thought Eisenhower wanted Nixon to contest the election.

Not sure ‘every historian’ ‘concedes that’. There is evidence that Illinois’ electoral votes were stolen through a slow count in Cook County. Illinois’ electoral votes would not have been sufficient for Nixon to prevail. Nixon needed to make up a deficit of 50 electoral votes. That could have been accomplished with Hawaii, Illinois, New Mexico, Missouri, and Nevada, the states where Kennedy’s plurality-per-electoral-vote was the smallest. I believe there may have been some controversy over Missouri’s tabulations at the time.
