What’s that, Lassie? Picture fell down a well?
Well in two months we’re going to find out just how stupid many of us are. One thing’s for sure the Dems and media think we’re mostly stupid. Black Americans we’re really counting on you to give Jim Crow Joe a very strong message.
The bat signal has gone out to partisan Democrats to push this specious rubbish. About 20% of Biden’s speech was allocated to the riots, and animadversion against the President were the nut of that 20%.
The speech was given at Carnegie-Mellon. Unlike Republicans, Democratic pols don’t see their invitations rescinded. No questions were taken and it’s not clear there was an audience present. One wag offered that now we know there will be no debate.
There’s a 19, 20 second clip of Joe Biden trying to say Covid-19 has caused more deaths than any disease in a hundred years. I don’t know if that’s a true comparison between Covid-19 and the Spanish Flu, or just Joe being Joe, as folks used to say. What I do know is < a href=https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2020/08/joe-biden-what-is-the-merciful-course.php>he made a complete and total hash of it/a>.
And that has me wondering a couple of things. The first is, does what the Democrats are doing to Joe Biden constitute elder abuse? The second is, if this is what they’re prepared to do to one of their own in their lust to dominate, what are they willing to do to the rest of us?
A regular at Althouse who blogs as Yancey Ward points out:
There were no applause. The only person you see present is the man cleaning the platform.
It’s a reasonable inference there is no audience because they don’t want anyone to witness how they set up the TelePrompTer. He surmises that it’s just below the field of vision of the camera, square in front of Biden.
Also noted: it’s a short direct flight between Biden’s home in Delaware and Pittsburgh. Minimizes the time outside the house after sundown.
The only audience were the 7 reporters who flew there with him and then didn’t get to ask any questions.
Photo of the speech found on Power Line Blog.
Art Deco, good point about avoiding the possibility of Joe having Sundowners.
That makes it graphic. They travel 300 miles so he can give a 28 minute address in an auditorium empty except for technical staff and a few others. Something is very wrong with him.
