Be Prepared

Justice Ginsburg announces that her cancer has recurred, but that she is doing well with chemotherapy.  Go here to read about it.  I wish her well.  Liver cancer however  is nasty business.  I would not be surprised if this star crossed year is leading up to a Supreme Court nomination fight to end all Supreme Court nomination fights right before a presidential election.

Not wishing her ill-will, but if the Democrats have to use animatronics to keep the dead corpse of Ruth Bader Gingsburg gesticulating on the SCOTUS bench till after Trump passes from history, then they will.

Liver cancer however is nasty business.

My suspicion would be that it’s pancreatic cancer gone metastatic, and that the lung tumors she had last year are the same business.

It would seem to be appropriate for someone of her faith in which she has trust, to acquaint RBG with the apparently forgotten Jewish doctrine of repentance, reward, punishment and the afterlife.

Prayers for her in this life and the next. And once that next confirmation fight comes around, one hopes its subject turns out to be a little more reliably “conservative” than the last two.
