Glad to see “progressive” is at least in quotes. It really ought to be in brackets though.

On “progressive” I think of this quote from Tolkien’s -Lord of the Rings…. “Gnawing, biting, breaking, hacking, burning!! Destroyers and usurpers”..

For a democrat, progressive, or other totalitarian lying is them trying to be divine, i.e. by simply uttering words to bring reality into being. That’s why they say good is evil, men are women, babies are masses of cells, two men can be married, adultery is virtue, and 2+2=5. Over human history, nature [God’s creation by His words] defies them and nature says, “You lie.” As we speak, nature – God’ creation – is saying “you lie” to those who would seize tyranniclal power and eradicate our personal liberties by shouting “Climate! Oh no, the climate! We will save you.”
When I hear ‘lies’ and liars,’ I think of Billy Boy, HRH Hillary, and Barry Soetoro (to correct this name is to say yes, he is a liar). And I think of:

“The man who lies to himself and listens to his own lie comes to such a pass that he cannot distinguish the truth within him, or around him, and so loses all respect for himself and for others. And having no respect he ceases to love, and in order to occupy and distract himself without love he gives way to passions and coarse pleasures, and sinks to bestiality in his vices, all from continual lying to other men and to himself.” Fyodor Dostoyevsky, The Brothers Karamazov

“No man, for any considerable period, can wear one face to himself, and another to the multitude, without finally getting bewildered as to which may be true.” Nathaniel Hawthorne

No one is more merciful than this pope. I mean, he proclaimed an entire year of mercy. He loves to dialogue and he loves to accompany, not admonish. Nothing pleases him more than those who make a mess over their disagreements with him. And tradition? I ask you, does a man hate tradition who agrees with the tradition of not criticizing the supreme pontiff? Thank God Pope Francis doesn’t lie to himself and others like those sinful Americans. American conservative Catholics must be who the author was describing.

Theodore Dalrymple is a good way to determine is the speaker is evil as this kind of speech is from the devil.
