It’s amazing the Associated Press is incapable of hiring someone minimally competent. It’s been known for decades that Kopechne suffocated as the air pocket in that car was replaced with carbon dioxide.
Seems so tragic and innocent, doesn’t it.
Seriously, what a stain of shame their individual family members have been on our common family name!

I like that letter. Of course, if the Kopechnes had sued the Kennedys, it would have been in front of a Massachusetts judge. One of that guild signed off on the slap-on-the-wrist EMK received for this act of vehicular manslaughter. If it got to trial, it would have been in front of a Massachusetts jury drawn from the sort of people who re-elected him seven times.
