Governor It’s Not Infanticide, by not resigning, has given the Democrats a big problem and the Republicans an opening in the fall elections in Virginia. Bet on Trump mentioning this in the State of the Union address. Those who live by the race card sometimes die by the race card.
From 2013, Governor Completely Not a Racist refuses to shake the proffered hand of his black Republican opponent E W Jackson.
In 2017 Governor So Not a Klansman blasted his Republican opponent as a racist:
All of the hell that Governor Hypocrite is going through now isn’t a fraction of what he deserves:

And Tucker Carlson for the win:
From the Washington Post:
There was a moment during the conference where a reporter asked him if he could still moonwalk. The govenor actually contemplated carrying out the request- which pretty much sums up the seriousness of this clown.
Heck, it would’ve probably elevated the whole thing into a real entertaining circus. He should’ve gone for it!
His wife shot down the idea, and with the look of a kid denied candy, he reluctantly agreed with his wife’s disapproval. The way the little moment played out made me think that the governor’s seat is more of his wife’s ambition, and she’s not ready to give that up.
He…he just wants to moonwalk!
“The way the little moment played out made me think that the governor’s seat is more of his wife’s ambition, and she’s not ready to give that up.”
That is the impression I got. She definitely seems to be the brains in that marriage.
Then we definitely want this guy gone before the newest Lady Macbeth decides he’s Oval Office material.
My God. We’re still not entirely rid of the one from Chicago by way of Little Rock.
The first rule of American politics has become “It’s OK if the Democrats do it.”
BTW, is anybody else surprised at the unlikely bravery of Tucker Carlson? I say “unlikely” because I remember first seeing him on TV in the 90’s and he seemed like a preppy lightweight, almost a stereotypical WASPy Republican. Yet he has shown himself to have far more sense, integrity and backbone than all of his former colleagues at the late, unlamented Weekly Standard.
“The first rule of American politics has become”
That Democrats tend to be dirty fighters and that Republicans tend to be surrender artists.
Well it’s a lot easier when you have an entire media division able & willing to defend & attack the flanks of the parties. It’s probably related that as the media’s power weakens and the alternative rises the new republicans are growing stiffer backbones.
As outrageously racist this pathetic man is and its condemnation is rightly justified, it “conveniently” provided the perfect distraction and prevented further outrage over his infanticide comments. The left knows the public has not been conditioned enough to accept the next level of infanticide, sadly their first step of the conditioning process has been accomplished.

The story was leaked to Big League politics, a conservative site by an anonymous source described as a “concerned citizen”. This could be a leftist leak, but it feels to me more like someone outraged by the infanticide comments of Northam.
The fellow in blackface has been tentatively identified from other photographs in that same yearbook by his distinctive trousers. If the identification is correct, he’s an old crony of Northam’s and an officer in a student club in which Northam participated. There are other photographs in the yearbook that show this man in the frame with Northam. The thing is, our single best guess is (from those photos) that Northam is slightly taller than Mr. Plaidpants. However, the fellow in the Klan outfit appears to be shorter than Mr. Plaidpants.
