I looked her up, and was very edified by her story. She was sentenced to death by the Nazi’s for continuing to hang crucifixes on the walls of her hospital, after being told to stop. May I be even half as brave in adversity as she was.

Yes. It is easy to be brave in a crowd. It is hard to be brave when one is standing alone, but for God, as she was doing. Women like her are torches God sends to us to help light our way in a frequently dark world.
