Viewed from eternity, human pride and avarice must seem incredibly stupid.
We’ll see who the “giants” are when we get there.

Many use people to gain things instead of using things to gain souls. The conquests for riches and the extreme use of power to circumvent the law doesn’t work for long term investment strategy. Matthew 18:1-6

1AT that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying: Who thinkest thou is the greater in the kingdom of heaven? 2And Jesus calling unto him a little child, set him in the midst of them, 3And said: Amen I say to you, unless you be converted, and become as little children, you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. 4Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, he is the greater in the kingdom of heaven. 5And he that shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me. 6But he that shall scandalize one of these little ones that believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone should be hanged about his neck, and that he should be drowned in the depth of the sea.

Where is humility?

Best to find it, adopt it, live it and allow it to be nurtured in your heart. Best to do this before one runs out of time. Start with Mary Immaculate.

Seems the scandalous Left might be hoarding millstones for some future time.
So be it if conversion isn’t a option. Praying for conversions. Praying for the Left. Praying to become a child with child like faith and child like trust.

True.

I just emailed the following to my (yuk) senators (Gillibrand and Schumer).

“I ask you to vote “yes” for Judge Kavanaugh. I know I’m making a “forlorn hope” request. Apparently, you believe that Judge Kavanaugh isn’t entitled to the presumption of innocence, and that a false accusation that is not only unproven but unprovable is “corroborated.” You are not alone in acting thusly. The Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot, Democrat party come to mind.

“I have been disgusted by the outrageous lies played out in that hearing room. It concretely proved the truth in that which Orwell wrote, “Politics are essentially deceit and coercion.” (See “Reflections on Gandhi.”) There was in it no charity or justice.

“I remind you of the Fifth (abortion is murder) and Ninth (bear false witness) Commandments. We will go before a judge of infinite justice and many of the judgments of this World will be reversed.

“What runs through my simple mind is that working such evil is how civilizations collapse.”

Yeah, the hysteria over Kavanaugh is really a sight to behold. I don’t think the Democrats have been this ready to believe unsubstantiated accusations since Scottsboro.

He rambles on “there is so much to say about Ted Kennedy”, but couldn’t find anything to say. Ha!
