For God Sake… Why isn’t the “Book of Gomorrah” required reading in every seminary?
Why indeed? Reading about Cdl McCarrick and the other deviate cardinals and bishops is disheartening; it makes one wonder what is the percentage of homosexuals in the hierarchy of the Church? (I would have said practicing homosexuals, but am not sure it makes a difference.) The percentage of those known seems very high in comparison to what the percentage might be of just priests. I would guess there’s no way to tell the latter percentage.
David, Good point about required reading; however these men should never have been in seminary to begin with.
Which brings me to the question: Can homosexuals remain celibate in an all male environment? The lifestyle seems to be more promiscuous than heterosexuals.
