thoughts: “Thou art Peter and upon this rock I will build my church.” Jesus
Rocks into soil. Sun, water and soil make wheat grow and wheat into bread.
“Turn these rocks into bread” by way of evolution caused by the Prime Mover. Jesus would have abandoned His Father.
Water into wine by way of the soil, water and the sun, the vines produce much grapes for wine by way of the Laws of Nature and Nature’s God.
“I will give you all of these nations” Satan did not own the nations that he purported to give Jesus. “All power in heaven and on earth is given to me.” Jesus already had sovereignty over all nations.
“Cast yourself down and angels will prevent your feet from being injured.” Jesus did not do unnecessary things to prove his Divinity. Satan owns nothing. Zero, zilch.
“You will not die” Satan is not the God of life. Adam and Eve forfeit sanctifying grace, their life of the soul, making Adam and Eve the first materialists.
There is nothing that God will not give us if we ask, wisdom, grace, logic.
What branch of Lutheranism does this satire come from? They should get their own “Lutheran” Ordinariate!
Missouri Synod I believe. He is funny and scary bright, a formidable combination.
