“Praying for good weather, so we can kill our fellow man?”
To remove evil from among men requires removing men from their evil. Why must seemingly just men make excuses for self defense? (Our self defense is our legacy to our constitutional Posterity) Is it not enough that evil men condemn themselves?
I often wonder why Nazis were Nazis and why communists were communists. Just because the communists hold you and your family hostage (no Bill of Attainder. Article I section 9-10 of our Constitution), maybe, but otherwise the pure evil of communism and group identity is an idiotic ideology for man.
The Supreme Sovereign Being is a community of PERSONS in communion of love (Father Wade Menezes) through informed consent of the free will. So too, are all religious communities through informed consent of the free will.
Father John Corapi taught that the reason priests remain celibate is because the devil holds their wives and families as hostage. Being hostage to the devil is repugnant; hell.
Evil men, the devil’s foot soldiers are NOT our fellowman for they have become outlaws and reject the Laws of God found in the Ten Commandments and written in the hearts of every human being.

All my life, I wanted to be a comedienne. Now given the chance, I can find nothing amusing to say. Now, that is funny.

Every human being is in the Sacred Heart of Jesus through Jesus Christ’s perfect love for each person and through the image of Himself and His Father in each of us. When, at the Consecration of the Mass, Jesus comes down on the altar, Jesus comes with each person, body and soul, in His Sacred Heart.
Each person is never more alive than when embraced in the Sacred Heart of Jesus and reminded of His infinite Love. We are with Christ in the tabernacle, too, if we choose to be. We must choose to be. We must acknowledge ourselves and our neighbors in the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the altar during Mass by reverence for our neighbor and by worshipping Jesus.
Sharing the peace of Christ is more accomplished by acknowledging our neighbor in the Sacred Heart of Jesus on the altar and observing silence before the tabernacle while in church before and after Mass.
There was a time when passing a Catholic Church would bring a person to make the sign of the cross over himself in public and in private, thereby claiming the public square for Christ.
Let us begin a new.

Amen Mary.

Cedar is a very small community. Polish influence is quite prevalent, which I love btw, and most beautiful is the Catholic respect for Our Lady. The Angelus Bell is rung and with bowed head the prayer begins. Holy Rosary Church is a few miles out of the Hamlet, but on occasion one will catch the bells ringing and the reminder to honor our Lady is before us.
We stop and give thanks to God that he created such a loving and caring Mother for all of humanity. “Let it be done to me according to God’s will, for I am the handmaid of the Lord.”
A sentence that should be on our hearts, minds and lips every moment of our day..not just at 0600, 1200 and 1800hrs. When we do incorporate that sentence in our own being then we too participate in the mystery.
God’s will be done in our life.

The sun stood still for Joshua and Moses had the help of a flood when Pharoah was chasing him. I see little difference in asking the help of the Almighty for favorable conditions to defeat modern day evil.
