Non nobis, Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam.

Sadly, my lib relations are beneath depressed. In charity (and they have no sense of humor), I will refrain from telling them the obvious that Canada is only a couple hundred miles north.
.
Now, they know how we felt in 1992, 1996, 2008 and 2012.

Viva Cristo Rey!

I just Hope Trump doesn’t build that wall until each and every one of these America haters gets across the Mexican border.

For those who are trapped on our side, I’ll start a go fund me campaign to fly them the hell out of here. As of last night I’m certain we will have enough sympathizers to kick in a buck or two.

John 2 :13-22 today’s reading is interesting in light of the day.

Jesus entering into his Father’s house finding it turned into “a den of thieves.”. He makes a cord and whip’s them and turns the tables over.

Jesus and Donald are not to be compared here, but the non-professional politician entering into our White House, hopefully to drive out thieves and hopefully return some dignity to the office. Hope is key here.

If Donald sets up a Trump Steak House on the West lawn and stages the state of the union address with an infomercial attached then my thoughts on today’s reading and this shake up in politics is shot all to heck.

But….but what if he surprises U.S. and
what if he truly rise’s to the occasion?
A remarkable return to order would be a blessing for a country that has waded through the muck of “non-gender” bathroom decrees, and fines for business owners who don’t cave into the HHS mandates. Rainbow White House…den of thieves. Dignity Donald… please restore some dignity to Our sacred land in DC.

Prayers are continuing.

I heard one guest pundit on FOX say that the Canadian immigration website crashed – but not Mexico’s. Funny, they never threaten to leave for Venezuela, Uganda or Yemen. Heck, I don’t even here them threaten to leave for France or Belgium (basically to France what Canada is to us) anymore. I hear there is some cheap real estate in Molenbeek.

If Donald sets up a Trump Steak House on the West lawn and stages the state of the union address with an infomercial attached

I might actually like that.

c matt, it’s even cheaper in Syria due to a ton of recent vacancies as the masses there went on European vacations.

On another site someone, in reference to Brexit, called this Hagxit. A little harsh but I understand the sentiment.

Now if only Popexit… 😉

Had to share this comment from our local Kiwiblog 🙂

“RF
Strange noises coming from the Clinton camp at 4am this morning. Shredders working over time, the smell of burning reports, urgent deliveries of bleach bit for the computer hard drives.
In the background can be heard the sound of a female screeching at someone called Bill and thrown vases breaking.

“I envision them having the paper shredders and bon fires going day and night Don, rather like Nazis burning documents in one of the closing scenes of Patton!”

But remember the FBI and CIA probably have it all covered as protection against these monsters. It would be a stupid spy who didn’t keep of a record of what his boss was doing.

And maybe we will see a lot of this come out or be used by Trump for persuasion purposes.

Somewhat off-topic: if the Republicans had to lose two seats in the Senate, the optimal losses would have been drawn from the following list: Mark Kirk (pro-abortion, shamnesty supporter), Sleeza Murkowski (R – Her Daddy, shamnesty supporter), Kelly Ayotte (lying shamnesty supporter), John Hoeven (shamnesty supporter), Marco Rubio (shamnesty supporter, con man), and John McCain (inveterate shamnesty supporter, bad temper). The departing tools will be Kirk and Ayotte.

Ginsburg promised to go to Australia. I hope so and she can take her international law with her. The bush people will give her a cave.

Philip —
most of the stories where I’ve been able to dig down, the “bunch of students doing ___ because Trump Scary” stories turn out to really be the teachers.
Including colleges setting up counciling for teachers to help students deal with it.
At least college or high school kids would have the excuse of being kids….

Foxfier.

Teachers being kids is just as sad as parents being children. No parenting, no guidance and no values… at least the values worthy to lead others to make good decisions.

Thanks Foxfier.

How pompous and arrogant these “celebrities”” to think we will weep for their migration; but there will be great joy and rejoicing to see them absorbed by the horizon. Good riddance is a trite phrase, but oh how good it feels to sing it loud!
