I humbly ask for prayers for the healing of a dear friend of mine who is battling cancer. Over the years her family and many other people, including me, have depended upon her strength, drive and kindness. She has a firm faith in God and is meeting her health crisis with incredible optimism and cheerfulness. Let’s see if we cannot storm Heaven to help her. I thank you for your consideration of this request.
. Will do and let me add two in this family with serious recent diagnoses…one in Taiwan who just came out of a chemo stay….Lord, unless they must leave, touch them with your healing Power as you did so often to those in the gospels.

Thanks….Titi Yang, daughter in law, 32 years old…suddenly in September in one dark weekend we thought we lost a girl who was never sick…leukemia ( a beatable version) became the hopeful final diagnosis rather than severe aplastic anemia. The other is much older but suffering in her lungs. All three and any others…Lord, you said..” my Father worketh and I worketh even until now”….Have mercy as you work on all afflicted…Titi faced the dragon, help her process it all and come to you explicitly. My daughter was diagnosed last July with a very aggressive breast cancer. Within three weeks she was in hospital and had her left breast removed. Thankfully it had not entered her lymph glands, and she is well on the way to recovery, with the last of her six chemotherapy sessions to happen this Wednesday. Then in January, six days of short sharp radiation treatment, and around May, breast reconstruction surgery.
She was only 37 when diagnosed, and I and the community are staggered at how prevalent breast cancer is in young women today. There are about seven young women aged from 35 to 45 just in the mother’s school group where Kelly’s girls go to school and in the sporting and social groups she associates with that have recently been diagnosed or are recovering from this scourge. Four years ago, a friend of hers at 33 was diagnosed with cancer, but she was pregnant and refused an abortion, and treatment, because it would damage or kill the baby. The baby was born healthy, and Kelly’s friend died three months later. That was sad.

Indeed. And heroic! I have no doubt at all she is now enjoying the Beatific Vision.
Praise be to God Don that your daughter is one her way to recovery. We call this present life the Vale of Tears for good reason.
I have a request too. Anya is 11 years old and she has been fighting leukemia for 18 mos. She has taken a turn for the worst and they have tried every avenue and she is not responding. She is my granddaughter’s little best friend and she and her family have suffered much in every way. Also her little brother who is 3 had this same type of leukemia and came out of it. Life is so hard sometimes, but God is good and merciful. Thank You
