This is hilarious, and including the 1970s “Match Game” theme song as background music is just the icing on the cake.
Haha. Joel Osteen also wants to remind all the early Church holy Martyrs, Saints & Ascetics that God wants them to be wealthy, have a nice suburban house (or mansion), lots of nice cars, and lots of cash. “Prosperity Gospel” is just another sad, purely American invention (like Mormonism or Jehovah’s Witnesses).
Joel Osteen to the beheaded, ascetic St. John the Baptist: “fulfill your dreams, embrace your career, & thrive to a new level of wealth.”
Joel Osteen’s theology is just a more “conservative” version of the Oprah theology.
