Recruits in the Cause of Liberty

 

I have always loved these scenes from The Patriot (2001).  It calls to my mind stories that my father told me that the day after Pearl Harbor in Paris, Illinois, long lines of men and teenage boys were waiting patiently for the enlistment offices to open to sign up for the War.
