Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three and happily married for 35 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.

  1. Once I read a story of a couple of American POWs who had seen this film. When the Germans drove them up to the requsitioned French chalet they remembered the film and burst out laughing at the sight of it. Everything that happened after paralleled the film so much that they continued to lose their composure and laugh. One later said “The Germans thought we were a couple of nutcases”.
    Hey, victory by any means, right?
