The “JV” thing has caught on in Rome.

If there is anyone who should know that Christ is the answer, because it is not having a personal relationship with Christ that is the root cause of the attractiveness of violence and extremism among the young, it is the head of Christ’s Church here on earth. The fact that Pope Francis, yet again, misleads by his teaching is further proof he is a ravenous wolf about whom scripture warns us.

The Pope is predictable. The host societies are blamed for the bad behavior of a set of immigrants and the governments facing public order problems and political violence have as their responsibility… more job opportunities for social workers and more legal harassment of landlords, employers, and the like. It doesn’t seem to occur to the Pope to notice the number of Muslim residents in France and Britain drawing on the dole and living in public housing, including not a few troublesome imams and freelance jihadis. It does not seem to occur to the Pope that the source of this revanchism in the Arab world and points adjacent is a long term historical reversal of fortune that social workers cannot do much about and police and soldiers can address only with symptomatic treatment.

One point that I really agree with in that litany of causes is the “vacuum of values”.
The last line could read that evangelization, educating about the good news, to more effectively (pros·e·lyt·ize) would be a good start on addressing all those listed issues and help bring about social justice and inclusion.
That is what happened in the early days of the Church.

Root causes? How about the failures of the Catholic Church to:

—do what our Lady of Fatima demanded?
—preach the true faith since Vatican II.
—encourage strong moral values.
—denounce Communism and Socialism.
—Encourage Capitalism.

What a joke….
I went to the site, Vatican Radio, but couldn’t read much more. Never thought I’d see this kind of socialist blather coming out of the Vatican. I couldn’t tell if the Mgr with the slavic name was the author, or simply reading this statement from the Holy See. In any case eastern European are usually more savvy than to even repeat such fiction. I did however do a quick scan and the word God never appeared, or Christ, or Our Lord, or Our Lady, and neither did the word Islam, Islamic, or ISIS. No appeal to anything above the horizon. The word Catholic appeared as a modifier to ‘school’ and the word Christian appeared as in ‘discrimination against’.
Dig this: “Let us arm our youth with the culture of dialogue and encounter, Let them be dreamers.. of a new humanity, one that rejects hatred between peoples, one that refuses to see borders as barriers.” Unbelievable!

I am beginning to see much of what is going on here in the states with terrorism & immigration, and similarly in Europe, as a kind of ethnic cleansing- of western caucasian Christians and post Christians. Not to mention that same population is reducing itself through attrition.
