Welcome Canon 212!

FINAL%20LOGO%20RESIZED

Canon 212

§1. Conscious of their own responsibility, the Christian faithful are bound to follow with Christian obedience those things which the sacred pastors, inasmuch as they represent Christ, declare as teachers of the faith or establish as rulers of the Church.

2. The Christian faithful are free to make known to the pastors of the Church their needs, especially spiritual ones, and their desires.

3. According to the knowledge, competence, and prestige which they possess, they have the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful, without prejudice to the integrity of faith and morals, with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons.

There is a new Catholic Aggregator site in Saint Blog’s and I like the cut of their jib.  Go here to take a look at the site.  I have added it to my favorites and I would encourage you to do the same.

In the spirit of Canon 212, I feel comprelled to state: In this election year, we Catholics must remember something;

History demonstrates that Catholic voters and Bishops ensure the legalized murder of babies in the USA. If it wasn’t for them, we wouldn’t have legal abortion in the USA.

Planned Parenthood and the Catholic Church are strange bedfellows on the surface of it, but in between the sheets they are lovers.

Yes, excellent site, the Drudge of more or less orthodox Catholicism. It might better be called the Catholic Aggravator than the aggregator due to it’s strong emphasis on seeking the truth. The truth about the current state of affairs in the Catholic Church is, as we know, highly controversial.

Bishop Chaput just came out and wrote that there is no clear choice in this election. This, of course, will be the catalyst for plenty of “Catholics” to again vote for the far and away most pro-abortion candidate. This is what happened to put Obama in office. On the other hand, Father Frank Pavone of Priests for Life makes it clear that there is no choice when it comes to the issue of which candidate is more pro-life than the other.

As Donald R. MClarey says, “Catholics and their Bishops have also been the most ardent foes of abortion”.

Yes, as in “also”.

They fought it at the beginning and then subsequently have entrenched it in code and culture thru the continuous and unending support for butchers. The rotting guts and blood of the unborn anoint the traitorous heads of the Bishops and Catholics who continue to support the party of death. ALL the deaths resulting from ALL causes in World War 2 are now left behind by the vast industry of murder that our Bishops and Catholic brothers have supported, propped up, funded and defended in this country.

Every one of us Catholics should rage inside at the pure evil this surrender represents. And we should be doing something about it. Take on your pathetic, effeminate, cultural Marxist Bishop if you have one. And don’t quit.

I overstate nothing. As long as the Church practices NO DISCIPLINE my words are clear and true.

Read you own post and see the pathetic reality ooze out of it.

“The majority of Catholics who practice their faith oppose abortion strongly. I think some of our Bishops do also.” Exactly. SOME.

“The problem is that the rest are not so much pro-abortion as placing attachment to the party of abortion, the Democrats, above the fight against abortion.” Doesn’t matter one bit. They support a party that is EXPLICIT in its goals and the planks of its platform are crystal clear. FAR MORE CLEAR than were the policies of the NAZI Party from 1925-1942.

“Almost all Bishops pay lip service to the fight against abortion, but few are willing to do more than that.” I couldn’t say it any better than that.

We must realize that the planks are not just in the platform of the Democrat Party, they are in the eyes of us Catholics.

If all or mostly all Catholic Bishops were publicly vehemently prolife, and told the truth about baby murders in the USA, decades ago Roe would have been reversed, Clinton and Obama would not have been elected, and there would be about 50,000,000 or more additional Americans alive right now, including more than 14,000,000 additional African Americans and over 10,000,000 more Hispanic Americans. Glad hands were never laid on me because these grotesque deaths are on the heads of these hirelings. You can name on my hands and feet and yours the bishops -of the hundreds here – you know who have actually gone to an abortion business and prayed in public. I am personally aware of prolife orgaqnizations approached by a diocese to “come under under the wing ” of the local bishop who refused, remained independent of any diocesan control – so that they could continue in their prolife mission rather than be muted or emasculated by a progressive democrat bishop. Re Canon 212: excellent site, excellent attitude. Guy McClung, San Antonio, Texas

What Guy says is true.

Not even counting the ones contracepted away, think what that population increase would do to our “need” for “open borders” and take-all-comers immigration…not to mention the ability to sincerely and clearly address those policy issues of the republican party that might be legitimately criticized from a Catholic perspective.

But alas, the only bloc Catholics vote with is the bloc DEVOTED to the murder of TENS OF MILLIONS.

Catholics would have unbelievable leverage within the democratic party if they made clear they would never vote democrat again until the party was solidly pro-life. It will never happen. Those folks have gone way beyond simply being complicit in evil. After the PP videos, no one in this country can vote for any democrat and pretend they have done anything other than keep the trains to Auschwitz running.

Father of Seven: Yes, yes. Democrat Part affiliation is the religion of many Catholics who regard it’s platform with much greater esteem than the teaching of Christ. It is a cultural thing and part of their family heritage. Basically, it represents a triumph of materialism over spirituality. The Bishops and the Popes are responsible for not making a course correction long ago when the Democrats began advocating abortion. Now, with the seamless garment theory they have found a way to defend remaining Democrat and not upsetting the status quo. Aren’t they clever?! Not.

I am not sure the average voter even really knows what is in the Democratic party platform. Or the GOP platform for that matter. The PP videos? Only a small handful even know about them. I was at a function last night, and otherwise intelligent people barely knew who our governor, representatives, senators and the like were.
.
Some years back, I met a lady who was clearly a Democrat. Or should have been. But because she had promised her uncle she would NEVER vote for one, she voted the most left of center Republican candidate she could in our area. I think she might even have been a Republican delegate.
.
I’ve got (elderly) family members who are clearly right of center, who will NEVER, EVER vote GOP, and vote consistently Democratic. The “center” has moved over the past 40 years since they were at Woodstock, but they seem not to know it.

With all due respect, everyone knows that the Democratic party supports abortion on demand. I’ve never met anyone who won’t finally admit this fact. I understand all the reasons people still vote for the candidates of the party of death. None of those reasons overcome the evil of abortion.

Father of Seven: Truth. In fact, they’d vote Hillary even if she eats little children on live TV.
.
In today’s faux headlines, “If Elected Clinton Foundation Will Not Accept Foreign Cash.’ If it were the Donald, the faux headline would be, “Trump Refuses to Confront Foreign Bribe Money Scandal.” Don’t forget. The system is not rigged.
