Since this is open thread, I assume political ads are fair game. And since this is a pro-Cruz ad and Popewatch is a Cruz supporter, he will certainly not mind:

Given that Pope Francis and Patriarch Kirill will be meeting on February 12th in Cuba ( https://mospat.ru/en/2016/02/05/news127862/ ) one wonders if this book will include letters from Russian children, and if Patriarch Kirill is taking a similar initiative.

Dear Pope Francis,
I was so pleased to see that you receive your mail without causing all those airplane chem trails and that CO2 filth that comes from airplanes.

Yours Truly,
The UN

Dear Pope Francis,
I stole $20.00 from my parents and got caught. They have forgiven me and I feel real bad about it, but now I am being punished by them. I don’t think this is fair. My parents say both mercy and justice are necessary. What do you think?

Sincerely,
Wimpy Kid
