The Anchoress asks the pertinent question:
Do The Rapes of Rotherham Tell a Tale of Conquest?
What Rotherham puts me in mind of is the behavior of the conqueror. One of the terrible after-effects of invasion and war has been the subjugation of the women, the rape of wives and daughters, the seed of the conqueror, inserted into a culture and a society — yet another tactic meant to subdue and eradicate.
Go here to read the rest. There is one word to describe what went on in Rotherham and that word is ghanîmah. Go here to read all about it. The contempt shown for the girls of Rotherham, to be used as sexual playthings by Muslim men, is merely the latest variant of something that has been going on in a war waged by Islam against the rest of the world for thirteen centuries. The West, in its hubris, sought to be done with its Christian heritage and made the mistake of assuming that Islam was merely a worn out superstition that its former adherents would quickly shed. Winston Churchill, in his salad days, was wiser:
How dreadful are the curses which Mohammedanism lays on its votaries!
Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia
in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many
countries, improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods
of commerce and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the
Prophet rule or live. A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and
refinement, the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan
law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property, either as
a child, a wife, or a concubine, must delay the final extinction of slavery until the
faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.
Individual Moslems may show splendid qualities, but the influence of the religion
paralyzes the social development of those who follow it. No stronger retrograde
force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Mohammedanism is a militant
and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising
fearless warriors at every step, and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the
strong arms of science, the science against which it (Islam) has vainly struggled,
the civilization of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilization of ancient Rome.”
We are now seeing how well our vaunted science defends us, when the spirit of Christianity has deserted out leaders and only empty nihilism is raised in its place.
