An on-line game called Adventures in Sex City is featured by the Middlesex-London Health Unit in London, Ontario to “educate” (read indoctrinate) kids about sex.  Go here to  see it.

“The city health office in London, Ontario, created an online sex-education game that officials hope will appeal to teenagers in that its messages are delivered by a cast of iconic superheroes. According to a February report by Canwest News Service, the players are Captain Condom (who wears a “cap”), Wonder Vag (a virgin girl), Power Pap (“sexually active”) and Willy the Kid, with each fighting the villain Sperminator, who wears a red wrestling mask and has phalluses for arms. The characters answer sex knowledge questions and, with correct answers, obtain “protection,” but a wrong one gets the player squirted with sperm.”

My reaction?

“But if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to have a large millstone hung around his neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea.”

  • I checked it out and its a bit disturbing… and if I may say… anti-male?

I mean, it pretty much portrays the male half of sex as being gross and potentially disease-ridden.

  • That game is absolutely revolting. I’m shocked. I love how “age-appropriate sex education” is always portrayed as being something along the lines of just explaining the facts to kids at the level they can understand them, and then you find gems like this that have game questions telling preteens it’s okay to masturbate while they’re getting shot with cartoon sperm by a man with a penis for an arm. Clearly all of that is “necessary” in order for young people to learn about sex.
