I really thought this was very well written seeing how Abortion is largely illegal in these countries. My first thought when looking at this, was the way, Pope John Paul II went to Cuba. Sometimes, it's not easy going but it's things that need to be done. I would venture furthermore, that if people say "Oh dear, we Catholics voted in favor of Obama", Obama and his cohorts I'm sure can look at the data and say as I did right after the election, a lot of the Catholics that voted for Obama were in fact, the Hispanics.
