Agreed. Who (besides me) wants people knocking on their door to talk about a Congressional Budget proposal? Plus it looks kind of silly, it&#039;s unlikely to budge approval ratings or public support, and it is likely to discourage your volunteers. And that&#039;s not even mentioning the substance of the proposal, which is not particularly inspired.</description>

Americans, at least most normal Americans (I rather enjoy politics) hate political campaigns, and the techiques that might work in an election year I think are often ill-suited to drumming up policy support.  Plus, in regard to these deficits, there is not enough lipstick in the world to make this pig look pretty.</description>
