2.  Speaking of religious, after enduring the many innovations following the conclusion of the Second Vatican Council, vocations have rebounded:

“Nearly 70 percent of Catholic religious communities have seen a jump in vocation inquiries in the past year”

The vast majority of those entering the religious life are tradition-minded adults under the age of 40.

3.  Following on the heels of this good news, Pope Benedict has requested priests to smarten up and wear your clericals and cassocks to better identify yourself to laypeople.

4.  With the Lion of Pennsylvania leading a resurgence in orthodoxy amongst his fellow brother bishops, Bishop Robert Morlino of the Diocese of Madison, Wisconsin, has removed a dissident Catholic from her post as a pastoral assistant.  Ruth Kolpack has refused to renounce liberation and feminist theology that provoked the bishop’s demands for her to recant – which she hasn’t.

5.  In quick step Archbishop Chaput has urged that alleged Catholics such as Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden should not be receiving Holy Communion if they want to remain Catholics.
