How true Foxfier.  I&#039;ve often been in court when judges issue orders of protection.  The judges usually admonish the petitioners that the orders of protection are merely pieces of paper and that they still need to take precautions for their safety.  The police will often tell people that they cannot guard them twenty-four hours a day.  A gun is often the only means by which a physically weaker potential victim, usually a woman, has any chance against a stronger assailant.</description>
